March 2019 Update

In April 2012, Greater Elizabeth Missionary Baptist church was blessed with spiritual guidance and direction under the pastoralship of Reverend Rickey Jones, Sr.  During his tenure, our church theme “Fulfilling the Kingdom Agenda of Jesus Christ” was adopted and outlined to ensure our work is aligned with accomplishing the good, acceptable and perfect Will of God.  In March 2019, Reverend Jones decided to resign to focus on his health and healing.  GEMBC continues to pray for Reverend Jones and his entire family.  We know God to be Jehovah Rophe, the Lord who heals.

The pastoral search process is being conducted according to our church bylaws. Updates will be posted on our church website. Please pray for our church as we move through this transition endeavoring to keep the Unity of the Spirit in the Bond of Peace. (Ephesians 4:3)
